Thin Large Flat Head SUS304 Elevator Bolt are thin body round head threaded fasteners. These have a large diameter flat head and a square neck creating a large bearing surface to stop the bolt from turning while the nut is being tightened. The large diameter of the head and square neck creates a larger support surface to prevent the bolt from passing through soft conveyed material. They are used in tight spaces with moving parts, such as elevators and conveyor belts. Their thinner heads sit flush with the connection surface and won't interfere with small or constrained operating systems.
Elevator bolts are similar to carriage bolts except that the head is thin and flat. There are many variations. Some don't have a square base, but instead the triangular part of the flat head folds down to form "teeth" that can cut into the wood and hold it in place.
